BAHRIA Foundation was established in 1982 as a charitable trust under the endowment Act 1890. The objective was to undertake a profitable business for the welfare and rehabilitation of serving and retired personnel of Pakistan Navy and dependents including families of Shuhadaas. It started its business ventures by establishing Falah Trading Agency in 1982 and other business ventures as follows:
